Breathing is an instinctive and natural process. Air goes into the lungs, and it goes out the same way it went in- either through our nose or mouth. People rarely think about “how” they’re breathing unless exposed to certain stimuli, or when they’re experiencing extreme emotions such as distress.
At some point during my childhood, I’ve been a mouth breather. Nowadays, there are a few times where I bounce back into the habit unconsciously even when my sinuses are all cleared and fine.
